Ceramics open studio hours for glazing are weekly opportunities for students who are currently enrolled in a ceramics class at the Art School to practice glazing techniques covered in class and to work independently. Individual or group instruction is not provided. Please review open studio guidelines and access details before registering.

Please read all terms and conditions carefully and agree by checking the boxes below. All terms must be accepted to register for opens studio.

I acknowledge that I am currently enrolled in a Printmaking, Metals and Jewelry, and/or Ceramics class, and the open studio hours for which I am registering correspond to my current enrollment status.

I acknowledge that no individual or group instruction will be provided during open studio hours and I am expected to work independently.

I acknowledge that if I am unwilling or unable to follow the safety guidelines and procedures for the studio in which I'm working, I may be asked to leave and be restricted from registering for open studio hours in the future.

Withdrawal Policy
Open studio hours are non-refundable and non-transferable. However, if a student has a personal or medical emergency, they may submit documentation and request a credit to their account (subject to approval by the Studio Programs Manager).

Students should contact the Art School Admin Office at (808) 532-8741 or artschool@honolulumuseum.org if they have questions about withdrawals, cancellations, or any related registration questions. If for any reason Honolulu Museum of Art decides to cancel a workshop, class, or open studio session, a refund will be credited.
By participating in Honolulu Museum of Arts’ classes and events, participants give permission for free use of their name, voice, artwork and picture in any advertising or promotion of The Honolulu Museum of Art.
