Artists have always been keen observers of their surroundings and use sketching to understand themselves and the world. From the detailed drawings of Da Vinci, and the scrawling notations of Rembrandt, to the bold drawings of Hockney, regardless of style, each artist lives a unique and never-to-be-repeated life experience. Learn how to develop a greater appreciation of your life while capturing your own unique experience through sketching. Teaching Artist Mark Norseth encourages students to bring a personal sketchbook of their own but paper and drawing materials will also be provided.
