Description

Inland Empire was David Lynch’s last feature—and he shot it himself and composed original music for the soundtrack. Laura Dern delivers an outstanding performance as Nikki Grace, a fading movie star who begins to adopt the persona of her character in a supposedly cursed film production. This leads her down a worrisome and dissociative path that begins to wreak havoc on her reality. Inland Empire also stars Peter J. Lucas (Nikki’s husband), Justin Theroux (Nikki’s co-star, Devon), and Jeremy Irons (Kingsley Stewart).
